Our very first blog news and we would like to welcome you to our home on the Gold Coast, Burleigh Heads.

Not only is Burleigh Heads simply an amazing place for beach pumping surf it is just the place in Queensland to breathe, recharge, and relax. No dress code required, it is as laid back and cruisy as you want it to be.

The weather in the mornings and evenings is a little cooler now, but when the sun shines there is absolutely nothing better than grabbing your towel and sunblock and diving straight in, or even better…wax your board, the surf is your oyster, those beach waves are beckoning.

For those who love to chill and relax, Burleigh Hill has the best views anywhere on the Gold Coast, Queensland, in fact, all the way to Surfers Paradise. Why not take a stroll up the beach and make your way towards Burleigh Heads National Park. Plant yourself between the trees and you have the perfect area for a picnic or BBQ and the best spot to catch some surf or take some stunning beach photos. Head a little further up the hill and you have two walking tracks: walk the scenic ocean view route around the hill passing Tallebudgera Creek (a perfect spot to take a dip or kayak) or head up Burleigh Heads National Park taking in the ocean view lookout and rainforest track route for some simply spectacular views.

Crew - want your morning caffeine hit with friendly service? Then drop into the "Crew” in Connor Street for a well rounded roasted coffee derived from Sunset BLVD beans from Melbourne. Did we say the croissants are delicious?  

The Burleigh Baker, an artisan bakery with the best-fermented sourdough here on the Gold Coast, drop in for a coffee, light breakfast or lunch, or grab a take away a loaf or two.

Red Hot Cod – the place for delicious fish and chips, the top surfers are known to go there but did you know that Simon also makes the best Nasi Goreng? Drop-in, you might get to see Simon but he does like to be out there catching the next wave.

Burleigh Gelato Co in Connor Street, one word – yum!  So many delicious gelato flavours to choose from.

Tarte Bakery & Café –  West Street, owned by former owners of the Paddock Bakery and described as "Pastry Wonderland" by the Weekend Edition Gold Coast.  Mouthwatering beautiful pastries and food to take home or enjoy outside with coffee.

Justin Lane – 3 levels of pizza, pasta, and good times. Perfect place to catch up with friends and family after a long day.

Golosi Food Emporium – for all the foodies out there you will need to drop in and see Donna for beautiful fine foods and deli items. The spring rolls with plum sauce are absolutely the best. 

Somewhere special for lunch? Then, you can’t go past Rick Shores – the only restaurant on the sand here on the Gold Coast.

The Running Shop – for those morning walks and runs at Burleigh Heads the Running Shop has the shoes we love.   

Govindas – delicious vegetarian Indian inspired food. Vegan and gluten-free options too. Scotty our Manager cannot stay away from there.

Emporium on James – the place to find those unique gifts and amazing pieces for the home.

Goccias - Authentic Italian, their wood-fired pizzas are delicious.  Anna makes you feel like you are in her home, wonderful food, fantastic service.  David highly recommends it.
