Holiday Resort Wear Essentials for Men

You've booked your holiday, organised your flights, now what to wear. At David Smith Australia we can take the guess work out of what holiday clothing to wear and show men how to dress and look exceptionally cool and stylish on your next holiday/vacation.
What to pack?
Tees and Polo's and of course, underwear. Classic colours in a beautiful soft lightweight fabrics will see you through your holiday. You can't go wrong with white, navy, and black, easy to mix and match. David recommends Patagonia for great comfortable tees.
Whether you choose a White Linen Shirt or a colour linen (not everyone loves a white linen shirt) it is one of those essentials. It can be worn with everything. Pair with swim shorts for the beach, add a tee and wear with a pair of chino shorts for breakfast or catching up with friends or wear with a pair of chinos at night. Linen is versatile for all seasons and can be worn under a blazer, bomber jacket etc.
Always pack a pair of swim shorts whereever you decide to holiday. Whatever your style: Board Shorts - we have a great looking pair of swim shorts - Reef Hybrid Swim Shorts that are comfortable, super light and quick drying, perfect for a quick dip and then a bite to eat or drink at the bar. Prefer an elasticated waist then the Pacific Swim Shorts are perfect. These come with the perfect pocket bag to store your swim shorts and then to throw in your essentials: key card, phone, sunblock etc.
Pack 1 or 2 of your favs. Pure cotton print short sleeve shirts are ideal to wear anytime with a pair of cotton Kirra or Bondi shorts and how about a pair of linen shorts, Reef Linen Shorts. Short shirts made from TENCEL™ fibers add a floaty relaxed exceptionally cool vibe. Made from recycled wood pulp, they are both sustainable, eco-friendly and breathable.
Pack at least 1 to wear out at night. Paisley print shirt with a pair of White Memphis Pants or a pair of dark pants in navy ink or black.
You may love to sleep comando but trust us a pair of cotton sleep shorts or boxer shorts never go astray to enjoy a morning cuppa out on the balcony. David has designed the perfect boxer short, pure cotton, elasticated, no back seam to ride up and these come in a drawstring bag. These boxer shorts seriously take up no room in your suitcase.
Don't forget your thongs or slides, a good pair of sneakers for walking/treking and a good pair of casual shoes. Think boat shoes or slip on leather or suede shoes. We love Christophe Auguin boat shoes with a super soft leather upper and all terrain rubber sole are designed to last and superb to wear. Slip on a pair of Sollu slip on loafers and in David's words, your feet will float on air.
